Hello,
I am writing to you - the reader - with a request, question, and thank you note.
I have published an Indialog article every week for four weeks now. Indialog articles include the first post on ‘India & G20 in the global context,’ a post on ‘democratizing Indian foreign policy,’ the first Security in Numbers post on ‘India’s military expenditure’ and most recently, a post on ‘geopolitical risk & India.’ I have enjoyed researching and writing every post.
If you like any of the Indialog articles, I would request you to share the newsletter with your friends and colleagues, and/or on social media. If you find value in any of the Indialog articles, I’d request that you encourage others to subscribe to the newsletter.
I also have a question for Indialog readers. I plan on expanding the newsletter to include interviews with experts and policymakers along with a weekly update on the policy landscape in India. Would this be of any interest to readers? If yes, what experts would you like to see interviewed and in what format (audio/video/interview transcripts)?
For weekly policy updates, I aim to focus on national security, climate change, and tech policy issues. However, I am keen to hear from you as to what kind of updates would interest you. Write to me with your thoughts and feedback at indialog.substack@gmail.com, or in the comments section, and connect with me on Twitter/LinkedIn.
Finally, I would like to thank you. You have given me suggestions on improving Indialog and have encouraged me. I truly appreciate this and I can’t thank you enough.
I am happy to share that Indialog has received over 1400 unique views since its launch roughly 20 days ago. Subscribers include many scholars and journalists who do terrific work on Indian national security and foreign policy issues, and I am always grateful for any and every note of encouragement (Amb. Shivshankar Menon, India’s former National Security Advisor, was kind enough to read and share the newsletter!).
I sincerely hope you continue reading, sharing, and finding value in the newsletter. Thank you for your continued support.
Interviews with experts in podcast format and adding a book recommendations section would be nice.
